This is not a skin or veneer that adds thickness to your preciously thin iPhone 4/4S. This is a complete replacement part for the iPhone rear glass battery cover. The iBooBak specs match the OEM battery cover size wise, making it compatible with most protective bumpers and cases. Of course we recommend using PEACHii bamboo case which is designed to compliment the iBooBak.
We designed our product with this goal in mind. Allow owners to customize the iPhone look and feel, while still allowing them to place the phone into an official bumper case or any other case for that matter.
We chose bamboo for it's beauty and earth friendly qualities. Bamboo is harder and more durable than traditional hardwood. It is not a conductor of heat and will not absorb moisture. Also it does not interfere with signal strength, we have actually noticed a 1dbm gain during testing. The bamboo is precision machined to the same specs as the original glass part.
We sourced the highest quality OEM parts available for the frame and camera lens/housing. We assemble these parts into a unique piece of art.
No flash diffuser is used in our product, only a small piece of clear high strength polycarbonate. This provides a more intense flash.
We finish the iBooBak by hand rubbing an oil blend into the bamboo. Leaving a very natural feel and rich looking finish, while offering protection from liquids and cracking. Colors and patterns in the bamboo will vary.
iBooBak is compatible with all iPhone 4 & 4S models.
